Currently: December! (ALREADY?!?!)

I'm in the market for some good tips on improving fluency. I have a few non-readers and I'm really focusing on fluency. If you have any good tips, please leave me a comment! :)

  1. I have to agree with you about December! Love this month!
For fluency tips I love using Reader's Theater for my students. It is usually a hit. The Phrasing Frenzy packet by Melissa Sabic on TpT are wonderful packets too. I have used them with first thru third graders. A juicer is on my list too!

  2. December is the best month!!! Happy early Birthday!! I'm with you with a pile of things to grade--I just can't do it today--maybe tomorrow?
What are the chances I saw that documentary on Friday, and I want to juice too----but I think it has to be on a break thing because you know us teachers already train our bladders to begin with. lol Hope you get your juicer!

    1. Thanks for the early birthday wishes! I might give the juicing a try over Christmas break. There are some reasonably priced juicers on Amazon!

  3. I LOVE December! I agree, it really is the best month!
I used to teach grade 6 (I'm now moving to grade 1) and the grading really never seemed to end! I used to choose fun stickers and really take the time to select the ones I wanted for that specific test or paper and that would make the grading a little more fun! haha
